Do I actually need to be an uncle?
No family tree required. We’re a 30+ community, mostly gamers in our 30s and 40s. “Unc” is the joke. All genders are welcome.
How serious are you about winning?
Serious enough to communicate and help the squad. Not so serious that a bad round ruins the night. Nobody’s demanding a competitive résumé or yelling because you missed a shot.
I’m new to Wardogs. Can I join?
Absolutely. Tell the crew you’re learning, bring a mic, and ask questions. We’d take a teammate who listens over a solo hero any day.
Are there mandatory nights or attendance rules?
No. Play when you can. Work, family and the rest of your life come first. If you’ve only got time for a round, that’s a round.
Is this only a Wardogs community?
Wardogs is our main game right now, but we’ve been playing together for years. Other games have a place here too. The idea is to find people you’ll want to keep playing with.
Do I need to pay to play or get whitelisted?
No. Supporting us on Patreon is optional. Request whitelist access in our Discord whitelisting channel using the pinned SteamID64 instructions. Staff review each request, and existing whitelist access stays in place. Website applications are coming soon.
Is Patreon support a recurring payment?
Yes. The UNC Supporter membership is $5 per month and renews until canceled. Patreon shows the payment and renewal details before you join. You manage billing and cancellation in your Patreon account’s Memberships settings. Patreon’s cancellation guide ↗
How does the founder benefit work?
Your first successful payment must fall within our 15-day founder window: September 30–October 14, 2026, inclusive, in Eastern time. It opens at midnight on September 30 and closes at midnight at the start of October 15. Qualifying founders earn lifetime standard whitelist access after Wardogs’ planned queue update, even if they later stop their Patreon membership. Current community whitelist access continues as it is.
Does paying unlock a better queue position now?
No new paid queue tier is being promised today. Higher supporter priority is planned for when Wardogs supports tiered queues and would require an active membership. The founder benefit is separate: qualifying founders keep standard whitelist access. You can still apply for community whitelist access without paying.
Is the server code the same as my Steam ID?
No. The code above finds our Wardogs server. Your SteamID64 is the 17-digit number identifying your own Steam account. The pinned guide in #whitelisting shows you how to find it.
